Rojda "Harbiye Açık Hava" Concert

Rojda performed at Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Açıkhava Tiyatrosu in İstanbul on 31 May 2026. This page keeps the record of the concert: venue details, location and the other dates that surrounded it.

A Rojda concert moves between the dengbêj tradition and her own compositions. Kilams that were carried for generations by unnamed women singers sit next to songs she wrote herself, performed with a live band and an audience that sings along in Kurdish.

Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Açıkhava Tiyatrosu in İstanbul was the stage for this performance. The map below marks the venue; the concert itself is part of the archive.
